Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of PawKeen (the "service"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Your account

  • You must be 16 or older to create an account.
  • You can only create one account per person. Multiple accounts representing the same creator may be merged or removed.
  • You're responsible for keeping your password secure. Don't share it.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law.

2. Your content

  • You own everything you upload (avatar, cover, bio, links, pet photos, etc.).
  • You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your content on the service (e.g. your /me/{handle} page, directory listing) as needed to provide the service.
  • You're responsible for the content you upload — you must have the right to share it, and it must not break any law.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to:

  • Post illegal, deceptive, hateful, or sexually explicit content
  • Impersonate someone you aren't
  • Scrape, mass-download, or rate-abuse our APIs or directory
  • Promote anything that harms animals or violates Australian pet welfare standards
  • Spam other creators or brands via inquiry forms or comments

4. Brand collabs and payments

  • We don't take commission on brand deals you land via PawKeen. Any payment between you and a brand is between the two of you.
  • We don't guarantee that brands will reach out. Your /me/ page and directory listing are tools — landing deals still depends on your content, audience, and outreach.
  • You're responsible for disclosing sponsorships per ACCC influencer guidelines + Australian Consumer Law.

5. Termination

  • You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. Where reasonable, we'll give notice first.

6. Liability

We provide the service "as is". To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. We don't warrant uninterrupted availability — we may take the service down for maintenance with notice.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be emailed to your account address at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after that = acceptance.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
