Is PawKeen actually free? What's the catch?
Free forever for creators. No card on file, no 14-day trial, no surprise upgrades. We don't take commission on your brand deals, affiliate sales, or tips. We earn nothing from your FREE account directly — long-term revenue comes from optional CREATOR PRO subscriptions and (eventually) a small fee from brands using the directory to find creators.
How is this different from Linktree?
Three things. (1) It's pet-only — niches, AU state filters, brand-collab tooling all built specifically for pet creators. Linktree is generic. (2) Real media kit, not a list of links — platforms with follower counts, audience snapshot, past brands wall, rate card. (3) Brands actually browse the PawKeen directory; on Linktree, your page is invisible unless someone clicks through your IG bio.
Can brands really find me on PawKeen?
Yes — opt into the public /creators/browse/ directory from your Profile tab. The directory filters creators by niche (adventure, training, food, etc.), AU state, and 'open to brand collabs'. Brand managers literally use it to source pet creators for campaigns. Plus your /me/{handle} page ranks in Google for your name + niche.
Why can't I change my handle?
Once your pawkeen.com/me/{handle} URL is in your Instagram bio, changing the handle would 404 everyone who taps the link — kills traffic. Pick something you're happy with. Need to change it for a special reason (rebrand, etc.)? Email support and we'll set up a redirect.
What if I don't have a huge following yet?
Doesn't matter. PawKeen is built for creators from 500 to 500K+ followers. Brands actively look for micro-creators (1K-10K) because engagement rates are better and rates are accessible. Your /me/ page makes you look professional regardless of follower count.
Do I need to know HTML or design?
No. Sign up, pick a handle, fill in a few fields (tagline, niches, IG handle, follower count), and your media-kit page is live. No themes, no drag-and-drop builder — we use one polished layout that works for every creator.
How accurate are the click stats?
Bots filtered (UA heuristics), your own views skipped (we know when the owner is logged in), Quick Link clicks tracked server-side (adblockers can't block them). Platform/featured/contact clicks use a JS beacon that adblockers CAN block — so those numbers may be 5-15% conservative. We tell you this honestly in the Stats panel.
Can I hide my profile temporarily?
Yes — pause coming soon to the dashboard. For now, email support and we can flip you to paused status. Your data is preserved; the public /me/{handle} page just stops resolving (404) until you unpause.
How do I delete my account?
Head to Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile, your /me/{handle} URL, your click history, and your WP user — permanent and immediate. No soft delete, no 30-day recovery. We don't keep a copy.
Is my data sold or shared?
Never. Your email and account data stay in our database — not sold to advertisers, not shared with brands, not used for ML training. The public bits (your /me/ page, your directory listing if opted in) are public by design. See the Privacy page for the full breakdown.
When does CREATOR PRO launch?
Targeting Q3 2026. We'll email all FREE users first with a founding-member rate locked in for 12 months. PRO adds 12-month analytics history, Brand Inbox (DM brands inside PawKeen), monthly performance PDFs, custom subdomain ({handle}.pawkeen.com), and featured directory placement.
I'm not in Australia — can I still use PawKeen?
You can sign up, but the directory + niche/state filters are AU-focused for v1. We'll expand to NZ + global later. If you're an AU pet creator living overseas, totally welcome — pick whichever state you most identify with.
